Silly Silly Benjamin- An October Benjamin Update

Stats: Benjamin was just at the doctor the other day in fact. He weighs around 26 lbs and is...hmm...I don't remember his height but it is short.  He is still mostly in 12-18 month clothes but the tops are finally starting to become too short as are the pants, although the waist still fits just fine.
Obsessions: Cleaning, dress up, ABCmouse.com, and doing whatever daddy and/or the big kids are doing! It is not uncommon to find Benjamin vacuuming the house, doing the dishes or sweeping the floors. Sometimes, if I am super lucky, I can find him doing all of this wearing pink dress up heels. He is a silly boy for sure. He is also learning to use the computer and the mouse. We still have a long way to go,but at least we are (mostly)past the slamming of the keyboard.

Likes: Daddy, daddy, daddy! He is still 100% a daddy's boy. He also loves going to Grandma's house. When her car pulls up he starts saying "house" on repeat until they leave, it is pretty funny. Lama Lama home with Mama,play-doh, Uncle Jordan!, eating

Terrible 2's early symptoms: He has recently learned that if he screams and cries loud enough, his siblings will generally give into his desires. He likes to take toys even if someone is playing with them. He is SO stubborn!  He has also taken up hitting and biting but thinks it is a game. He is a sweet boy but his strong will be giving us lots of challenges in the days ahead.

Personality: This kid is goofy! He is always doing something funny! He loves to laugh and finds humor in the silliest of places. He loves to clean and be daddy's big helper. He sings when he wakes up and when he wants something just pretty much says the word or phrase on repeat until he gets it. He has big doe eyes that melt your heart and tend to make those looking into them cave to his will. He has so so so many words and phrases now, that it is pretty obvious what he wants. He has taken an interest in potty training, and even pee'ed in the potty once, although we are not stressing it or officially potty training yet. He has no fear and jumps, runs and plows his way through the days. As we joke in our house, he will be Brandon's hope for a football star. He loves putting caps and lids on and off containers. He is also a big fan of sitting where ever and into what-ever he can squeeze his little butt into. You love to smile for the camera, just not when any of your siblings are also smiling/looking. You have all sorts of silly expressions and faces that just bring an instant smile to my face!

Message to Benjamin: Benny boo! you are a silly little boy with a very infectious laugh! You love to shower mommy and daddy with kisses but have also been exploring the world of hitting, please stop and just give lots of kisses. You have the most beautiful big brown eyes and they melt my heart. You have the cutest little voice and it is so neat hearing you learn new words and phrases, pretty much daily. When you are older, ask to look at the video we have of you saying various words, some of them are a hoot! You are the best little cleaner and I am very grateful for that. Pretty much everyone who meets you thinks you rock and wouldn't mind taking you home to keep for their very own, but don't worry my son we won't let them. We love you boobla boy!
