Pregnancy Highlights 38 weeks

38 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 38 Weeks
Size of baby: According to babycenter.com : BabyE is the size of a crenshaw melon, almost 6 pounds and 18 1/2 inches from head to heel. I had an ultrasound at 35 weeks and I totally forgot to ask how big baby was, darn it!

Maternity Clothes: Yes! I have even resorted to wearing some of Brandon's tee shirts to bum around in when I got super behind on laundry.
Gender: Ribbons and Pearls
Movement:  Never stops.
What I miss: Walking faster. I have been able to get back into walking thanks to Elias and his love of Pokemon Go but I go so dang slow these days.

Sleep: Ha.Ha. Ha. I give up. I am very thankful for my day time naps, I wouldn't survive without those.
Symptoms: Just being thirsty and hot. Nothing really to complain about. My back still feels pretty great and I haven't had heartburn hardly at all this pregnancy.
Cravings: Nothing specific
Best Moment this week: Finished packing the hospital bag and getting everything ready.
What I am looking forward to: Baby! hopefully not having to do a 40 week post:)

July Outdoor Fun

When we weren't at parks or pools in July, we were spending lots of time playing in the sunshine. We made trips to Grandmas, played with friends until the sun was long set, played in the back yard, went to BBQ's, farmers markets and pretty much just had lots of fun!

The boys were playing in the pool and somehow ended up naked. Gotta love summer
Elias was promoted to stroller pusher this summer
Stopped by the farmers market after some park hopping one morning

Highlight of the summer, daddy using the radar gun to see how fast all of the neighbor kids could run. They did this FOREVER
 PD BBQ

Lots of backyard fun. Swinging, painting, trampolining and so much more.

Lemonade stand provided all day entertainment!
Lots of scooter and bike riding

Once a month treat from the ice cream man! We are due for August, we should get on that soon!

Pregnancy Highlights 36 weeks

36 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 36 Weeks
Size of baby: According to Glow, the baby is the size of a honeydew and about 5.8lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yup, dresses for days

Gender: Still a baby girl, yet another ultrasound confirmed it.

Movement:  Still so active. I get a pretty great show in the evenings. It looks like something is trying to escape my stomach. It strongly resembles a scene out of the movie Alien.

What I miss: Not being So hot all the time. We are in the dog days of summer here and I feel it!

Sleep: I get to take naps every day so I really don't have that much to complain about but my nighttime sleep is serious lacking. I have to get up to go to the bathroom all the time and once I wake up I have a very difficult time falling back asleep.

Symptoms: I am still feeling great. No real symptoms to report.
Cravings: Nothing specific
Best Moment this week: Another quick ultrasound to measure baby and fluid levels. All good on teh scan.
What I am looking forward to: Being done with non stress tests! I really shouldn't complain, insurance companies sure take great care of their geriatric mothers, however going in twice a week every week for the last 2 weeks is getting old fast. However, it is nice to see baby movin and groovin and hear her little heart so often.
