March brought a few more gymnastics meets for my crew. We had our home meet, Lucky Chance as well as State in Fargo!
First up, Lucky Chance. The meet was on a Friday Morning and sadly I didn't get to stay long. We brought the entire family and Samuel was feeling sick so Samuel and I left with the two younger ones in case he puked. Brandon said Benjamin did well. Not his best meet but not his worst! His team got first and he finished 7th out of 8.
Next up was Annie's lucky chance meet. I had to volunteer a lot in concessions as well as on the floor since it was our home meet. Annie hung out at the gym helping out and socializing with her friends when she wasn't competing. The gym is really her second home. I didn't get a lot of pictures of her but she had a great meet. She had friends and family( other than just me) that came and watched and she placed in the top three on most events.
The end of March brought the end of gymnastics season and the state meet. The theme this year was Hollywood or something. I'm not exactly sure but the boys got these cute shades.
The meet once again was later in the evening. In fact, we pulled into the parking lot, late and Benjamin was snoring. I turned to Annie and said " I think its not going to be a great meet when Benjamin is snoring 3 minutes before warm-ups!" I woke Benjamin up and he perked right up and ran into the gym to meet his team.

The boys had a great meet. The level 4s won state whoop whoop and all our guys did really well! A big thank you to Benjamin's coaches for helping him focus and learn all sorts of new skills and a big thank you to his team for including him and being great friends!
The next day I drove BACK up to Fargo for Annie's state meet! We had a major jam session to Taylor Swift ( we didn't have Mary) and I must say it was a jammin good time! Annie had a great meet. She placed 2nd on beam and 3rd on floor and 5th all around. She qualified to regional s to make it a great state meet! A big thank you to all her awesome coaches( in their awesome shirts I made).
Annie was in the same session as our neighbors! They kindly brought her home since I literally had to run to the parking lot and speed home right after awards to let Brandon go to work!
My first season as a competitive gym mom was fun. We put lots of miles on the car but made a lot more memories! Season starts in a couple months and we are all very excited!
