Family Pumpkin Patch Trip

Every year since 2010, the Eberhardt clan has journeyed out to Nelson's Pumpkin Patch to enjoy a fun filled family outing. The first year, the kids were little and were pretty content just wondering around, not really interested in the games. Every year since then, they get more and more into all the features the pumpkin patch has to offer. The hay ride, spooky trail, pumpkin bowling, just to name a few. This year we have had absolutely beautiful October weather, so there were a ton of days, weather-wise we could have gone. The patch is only opened M-Th 3-6 and then on the weekends. The problem is, our family has activities every.single. week night! Most night multiple activities so that only left the weekend. With the weather turning cold fast I was hoping for a dry weened day, just one, so that we didn't have to break our family tradition. Last Sunday turned out to be a beautiful, but it was also a very busy day as we had plans to celebrate Uncle Jordan's birthday that day. Jordan was nice enough to "let" us go after the vikings game and before the birthday dinner. It was a very rushed trip and we didn't even venture to the left side of the patch where most of the games are, nor did we actually look at pumpkins. Everyone still had a blast and it was so packed I wasn't too sad about having to scurry out of there. Here are some pictures from our 4th annual pumpkin patch trip!

Elias was so tired after a full day of school, he passed out on the way to the patch
We had to park really really really far away!
Attempting to get a family picture, it was ok. The best you are going to get when the sun is in your eye and you have 4 kids
Jordan gets the photo credit for this picture, Benjamin looks so sweet

 Kisses for Uncle Jordan!

Waiting in line for the hay ride!

Once the tractor started moving, Benjamin became very sleepy

Annie got scared of something and the diva lost her cool

She was still all freaked out from the scary what-have-you, that she was pouting for sooo long. I told her I was going to take her picture and Kellie told her to school smile and she went from  sullen to sassy  in two seconds flat. Gosh I love this girl

It was another successful trip to the patch! Thanks Uncle Jordan and Kellie for helping out, with four kids, these outings are getting more and more interesting!
