Snowman in April

You wouldn't know it by looking out of our front window...BUT we do have 2 60+ degree days in our 10 day forecast! We also have two more days with snow but shhhh lets just focus on the good and accept that the weather here is crazy.
Anyways, schools had a late start last Monday (April 15th) due to snow, that's right, an almost snow day in April.. After the snow stopped falling, Daddy decided no better time to build a snowman then after a foot of fresh wet snow. We dressed the kids up and he took them out to start the project. I opted to stay inside with the Benj. He doesn't have snow boots and I just don't enjoy outside cold activities.
They were outside for about 30 min, Annie and daddy building away and Elias...well Elias was pretty much just eating the snow, he is our special one what can I say! Brandon decided since we had SO MUCH snow, that he would build a 4 tier snowman, it was as tall as he was! The kids helped gather rocks for the face and Brandon grabbed sticks for the arms, he was quite the snowman, but the story does not end there...

Now here comes the funny part!!!
SO.
Brandon, Jordan,Dan and the kids were in the living room two nights ago with the blinds still open. Dusk was falling when all of a sudden. BOOM
Some punk kid came plowing through our yard and knocked frosy over...JERK! Brandon was not about to sit by, his kids had just witnessed the murder of a snow man! Action was required.
He sprang up, but on his shoes and chased after the kid. Shockingly the kid refused to stop and started fleeing across the (very large) field.
Brandon and Jordan hopped in Jordan's car and leisurely drove and waited for this dumb kid to make it across the field. Brandon confronted him...police badge in hand, and broke the news that he had just committed snowman murder on a off duty cops yard.
Fear came over the child.
Brandon proceeded to make him feel like worlds worst punk for leaving our children crying after seeing their hard work destroyed. He got the kids information and told him if he needed anything else that he would come to his home in uniform the next day. After endless apologies and an offer to rebuild the snowman, Brandon let the little kid scurry on his way home, terrified that the police might be stopping by tomorrow.

HA. Don't mess with our Frosty!
The kids with their snowman that they were so proud of.
