Carving Pumpkins

Tuesday, the week of Halloween, Uncle Jordan came over to help carve our pumpkins we picked out. This had already been an eventful week even though it was only Tuesday. The kids all had the flu the previous week and I had spent 3 days washing sheets, comforting sick kids and scrubbing my house to rid it of the germs. Brandon woke up and was supposed to help us but was feeling so ill he just sat on the couch. He didn't eat dinner( nor did I because at this point I was starting to feel queezy) and he did noting other then be sick the entire evening, poor guy! So Brando was out of commission it was up to Uncle Jordan the kids and I to get er done.
Jordan decided he would do a Phineas and Ferb pumpkin while Annie and I chose a simple smiley face. Benjamin started out all eager to help, until it was time to scoop out the seeds, then he was out of there. Annie on the other hand stuck around to do all the de gooping. She helped poke holes in the pumpkin and help cut it out. She did great! Grandma Mim showed up to help carve but when Brandon went down with the plague, she ended up on Samuel duty.

It was a fun night followed by a terrible evening of both Brandon and I being sick. Grandma Mim and Jordan came down with the Plague later in the week as well. Good news is that we were all feeling better and well for Halloween and the big move!
