Happy Halloween

I am a little behind on updating this but I thought I better do a Halloween Post since everyone loves to see little babies dressed up! Today was a very busy day. The morning started out pretty normal;Breakfast, play time ect. The game plan was to do lunch naps and then hit up a couple of our friend's houses before the Vikings game then do dinner, Grandma's and trick or treating with another officer and his family...things got kinda crazy. Elias didn't really nap and so Daddy was hanging out in our room with Elias looking at photo albums explaining to him what trick or treating was. He told him you get dressed up in your woody costume, go to peoples houses and people give you candy. Elias bounces off the bed runs into Annie's room( where she is peacefully sleeping) and turns on her light and goes to the closet point to the bag where I hid his costume and said "hat, hat". Great well I guess Annie is up from her nap now!! We got the kids ready which was NOT how we expected. Both kids were screaming and totally unsure of what was going on. We thought for a second that this whole trick or treating thing was not going to happen. After the babies calmed down we managed to make it over to Kellie's house. Elias and Ann got their frist treats and had a blast playing with Kellie and her parents. Our next stop was at Pam's house. Elias and Ann got more goodies and even got to play with some pretty cool toys they had. The kids were starting to melt down....or so Brandon says. The kids were fine, but the Vikings game was about to start so we cut that visit short so Brandon (and Chuck, pams husband) could enjoy the game. The kids got their costumes off, ran around and finally had some dinner. The relaxing didn't last for long becuase it was time for the costumes to go back on and for some real door to door trick or treating. We stopped by our neighbors and the kids rang their first door bell! They were greated by Carol, Laura and the Bob's ( the husbands) as well as Diva and Oscar( the dogs). We had fun chatting and watching the kids run around and they made out with some pretty awesome treats. Next it was time for a quick visit at Grandmas. Elias was so cute running all the way up to her door saying " Ga Ma" "Ga Ma" Poor Annie had fallen asleep in the car on the way to her house thanks to her short nap thanks to her brother. Once she saw Grandma she perked right up though! After a quick visit, some candy and a few pictures is was off to meet Tim,Kate and Chance aka Monkey. Elias and Chance rode in the wagon while Daddy held Annie and Mommy pulled the wagon. The kids had a great time going up to the doors and collecting their candy. Elias and Chance started talking and it was too cute! Chance wanted a sucker and his Daddy told him no so Elias opened his gave it Chance and took Chance's unopend sucker and opened it and they both got to enjoy some treats in the wagon and since it was dark the oh so observent parents didn't notice for quite some time!! It was a great evening that ended with a nice warm bubble bath for the babies and some relaxing for Mommy and Daddy.
