After a fun filled trip to the pumpkin patch, the kids were eager to carve the little pumpkins they picked out. We made them wait a couple of days, but alas, the time came for the carving! The kids had heard from their friends, that Spookley was a cartoon so we found it online and watched while we carved. In true carving fashion, Benjamin and Annie were hands on while Elias and Samuel were no where to be found. Jordan was the expert carver and Brandon did a fine job as well.
The big guys decided not to go pick out a pumpkin of their own quite yet, which was a good call because it takes a bit of time to hollow out and carve 4 pumpkins, even with the simple designs we chose.
Benjamin lost interest in the carving once he realized that he couldn't help as much as he wanted. He was content raiding the box from Aunt Nikki and doing crafting projects! Who says men can't craft!
My two little sensory boys, they wanted nothing to do with the guts and slimness of pumpkin carving. They are two peas in a pod, so similar!
Elias was actually very excited about his batman pumpkin, the good picture of Elias, was TERRIBLE of Jordan( mid blink) so I opted for this one, you are welcome Jordan.
I can't believe October is almost over! glad to be getting all these yearly traditions accomplished even though this is the busiest time in our growing family's life to date!
