This is our first holiday having both sets of Grandparents in town so that means that we get 2 of every holiday, how fun!! We started off with an Easter egg hunt at the Alerus Center. Its a wonderful concept, tons of eggs divided up by age groups, easy for kids to get and enjoy candy. Parents were supposed to stay off the hunting grounds but apparently adults were unable to listen properly and swarmed the area making it hard for some of the parents kids to enjoy the hunt. My two didn't seem to notice and both got plenty of eggs and had fun collecting them. Annie started of by taking one egg at a time to daddy but then she got the concept, grabbed her baggie from daddy and went to town. Elias took 2 then came back and Brandon had to keep telling him he was allowed to take more. He kept looking back like he was doing something wrong, he can't seem to share his toys at home but I guess he was willing to share 1,000 Easter eggs with a hundred other kids. We hung out at the Alerus Center for a bit longer while the kids enjoyed some of their treats then headed home.

We detoured to my parents house to drop Skyla off, while we were there Annie and Elias got to play in her music room, A post from that concert will be coming soon!
After nap it was time to go celebrate Easter at Grandma Mims! By the time I got there, the kids had already torn open their gifts and were happily playing with books, cars, and stuffed animals. The kids spent the next hour or so playing before we enjoyed a delicious meal. After dinner I headed home with Benjamin to clean our mess of a house. The older kids hung out at Grandmas and played with all of their toys there. By the time the kids got home they were pooped! They had a long very fun filled day with family!
