A month or so ago, Once Upon A Child was having a sale on all their Halloween costumes. They had a ton to choose from and since they are made so cheap these days, and the kids wear them for one night then destroy them throughout the year playing dress up, I thought to myself, "Hey! Lets buy second hand costumes!"
Brandon took the kids one day during Samuel's nap and they had too much fun picking out some fun ones. They were so cheap, they even bought a couple extra for dress up. We ended up with 6 costumes for just around $30!!!
So with out further ado, here are my little ones this Halloween.
Boba Fett
Annie the puppy, this costume was super warm. A nice thing for a ND Halloween costume
The Thing!
Samuel has yet to get a new Halloween costume but when you are the youngest of 3 boys, that is just the way it goes! He is just as cute as Olaf as Benjamin was last year
As dusk the sun started to set, the kids got dressed and bundled up to head out trick or treating. The Sentis were in town and they joined us for the festivities.
Isaiah the astronaut
Leah the most unhappy Cinderella of the evening
James the spider man!
I stayed behind because 1. My back has really been hurting lately and 2. Someone needed to stay behind to hand out candy. Grandma Mim, Uncle Jordan AND Kellie were all on hand to help with the 7 trick or treaters!
Leah was really not enjoying the evening so much so her and Samuel came back after our block. The rest of the crew continued on for one more street. Kellie set up the youngest trick or treaters with their loot and they each got to eat a couple of pieces. Like the way Samuel's candy is sorted? Ya, thats all Kellie. Grandma said Samuel was very polite and said trick or treat and thank you at each house. He was just so excited to be one of the big kids for the night!
Princess Leah was much happier after she got inside and got some candy!
Another successful Halloween in the books. Not much cuter then kids in dress up clothes! Now we have 6 more costumes to add to the bin for the upcoming year.
