Welcome Ainsley

Did you know Kellie was pregnant? Neither did most of the world. Until she gave birth there was zero evidence of her being pregnant. What a weird world we live in that all our information comes from social media! Anyways, Kellie had a baby! She had a baby shower in November and didn't know the gender so we were all anxiously awaiting to see...mostly Annie who was praying day and night for a girl.
In mid January, Kellie had her baby, a sweet girl named Ainsley. Annie was THRILLED!!! She asked to hold her and go over to Kellie's constantly. To say she is obsessed is an understatement. We visited a few times in the hospital but gave the new family some time to adjust to sleep deprivation without the craziness of the Eberhardts

It has been a couple of months since Ainsley was born and she has stolen all of our hearts. We can't wait to have her as an honorary part of this crazy family.

As you can see, the boys love Ainsley and are constantly asking to hold her. Benjamin is a man truly after Kellie's heart and will, without asking go wash his hands and come back and say "OK Kellie, I washed my hands may I hold Ainsley now?" As he grabs a pillow and heads to the couch.Clean hands and a support pillow is a good way to get any mom to say yes to holding her baby.

The most unexpected thing about Ainsley's arrival is Nicholas' reaction. The first time she came over, he was obsessed with her. We thought he just wanted her blankets, pacifier or bottles. It wasn't until the 2nd and 3rd visits when he started saying her name and reaching his arms out to grab for her that we knew he was in love. Kellie one time came over without Ainsley for a few minuets and Nicholas repeatedly said Ainsley's name then walked to the door to look for her. He loves her! Sadly all the cute Nicholas-Ainsley pictures are on my phone so I guess I will just have to do another post later on the two BFF's later.
