Merry Christmas Part 2

Christmas Eve!

We started off Christmas eve by opening gifts with Uncle Jordan.
Backstory: Two years ago for Christmas, Elias got Disney Infinity 2.0. Last year he got the updated Disney Infinity 3.0. Each edition had tons of characters and power disks to go along with the game. The marketing on this product was genius, or so I thought. Apparently they couldn't figure out their supply and demand  and they announced earlier in the year they were discontinuing the making of new characters! We already had an obscene amount but out of curiosity, Uncle Jordan made a list and saw it was possible to get ALL the characters.

He spent who knows how much money buying the now clearance Disney Infinity characters. Every Sunday, for what seemed like months, he would bring one over and hide it. He still had quite a stash by December so he kept the best of the rest for a gift. The kids went nuts. He even bought a few replacement for ones we have but were broken. After the gift giving and screaming was done, we set them alllllll up.

Every disney Infinity character that was made....right there people.
This reminds me of our absurd Thomas the train collection.
Not a day goes by that the characters don't see a ton of ( non video game) play time.

We spent the afternoon cleaning up and getting ready for our busy next day, Christmas Day! In continuing with our tradition, we opened one gift, the religious gift on Christmas Eve!
Each kid got a book ( or two) and some coloring books for the littles. Elias, Annie and Brandon started reading theirs right away while Nicholas curiously looked at his St. Nicholas book. He already seems to know he is named after him. He loves looking at all things St. Nicholas!

We laid out cookies and milk for " Santa" and tucked the kids to bed. It was awhile before the rustling around stopped, but they eventually went to be and Brandon got to work...eating his precious Christmas Even Chinese food. He is a food obsessed guy, this one is. After he was done feasting, we laid out stockings and headed to bed...until we realized midnight mass was almost on. So, we got out of bed and went and watched mass, then passed out in our comfy bed until we were awoken by super excited kids at 7 am!
