Bendelyn

This post is dedicated to the adorable new couple on the block Benjamin-Madelyn, other wise known( thanks to Uncle Jordan) as Bendelyn. About a month or so ago, the two realized they both existed and have now been absolutely inseparable. Benjamin asks for Madelyn as soon as he gets up, he walks over to her house and knocks on her door all by him self and if she can come out, they run and play and they are in their own little world. They both boss each other around, they both know exactly what the other is thinking about, they love the same things and play so amazingly well together. They ride bikes together, jump on the trampoline together, dig in the rocks etc etc etc. They are best buds and it is just too cute to watch!

While the two get along fabulously, things are not always happy in paradise! The other day, Madelyn decided she wanted to play with Annie and Benjamin's world just about came crumbling down. Lucky for us all, Annie was about to leave with Brandon to run some errands and so poor Madelyn lost her playmate. Benjamin was over the moon and off the two peas in a pod went to play.

For the most part, these two are well behaved, for the most part...
You see, from our front door, we can see the ice cream truck that a neighbor owns. He lives kiddy corner from us, so to get to his house, you would have to cross a street with much more traffic then we have. Uncle Jordan was keeping an eye on the kids and noticed Bendelyn go around front. He didn't hear them for a couple of minuets so went around the front of the house to check on them. He saw them crossing Chestnut( the busier street). When Jordan ran to retrieve the pair, Benjamin said " I needed to go see if the ice cream truck has a car wash!" Valid reason to cross a busy street, but not so safe! Hopefully that doesn't happen again!
