For the first time this year, Elias had an all friend birthday party! He kept going back and forth but Brandon convinced him to have it at RRVG so he didn't have to pick and choose who to invite. This ended up working out great, we practically live at the gym between Annie, and Benjamin and of course open gym! The little boys feel comfortable there and there is plenty of ways to burn off lots of energy. April 3rd we pack up and headed to the gym for our party! We got there and right away noticed the gym was double booked..oops! After some rearranging, we got set up on some mats downstairs and the little girls had their party upstairs. So if you see random tiny girls in the pictures, that is why!
Anyways, we spent the first hour laughing and playing. Elias had a GREAT time and was so excited that everyone he invited was able to attend! After playing we did the whole pizza cake and present thing. This was the first time Elias got gifts from non family members and he LOVED it. He was so excited to see what people picked out for him and truly loved every gift!
It was a very fast two hours but very fun!

Oh Samuel, he really is turning into a funny guy! He found a mat and kept trying to ride it like a horse. He kept giggling and bouncing, giggling and bouncing.

I was talking with a friend at the party and she mentioned how she likes to enjoy her kids birthdays too so she limits their friend party to one every couple of years. I love this idea! I think the rest of the birthdays through Benjamin's 5th will be friend parties and then the next two years we will go back to just family then have another year of friend. Its expensive and overwhelming but fun to do once in a while!
